Beach fishingWell we went beach fishing on Tuesday evening, fished the tide coming in and caught loads of whiting, unfortuanately i dont think any of them was above 6oz so they all had to go back in the sea, give them another couple of years and they might be worth catching. It was a good evening though, we pitched camp on the beach, far enough up so we didn't get caught by the incoming tide, windbreaks and brolly's were erected but there was little wind and no rain at all, my little daughter Kes had a few cast of a rod, didn't catch anything but it was good practise for casting, she is getting quite a dab hand at it now. Turned out to be quite a long night though as we didn't arrive home till 6am the following morning, think i have just about recovered now so it's back to the decorating, been at it for about 2 weeks now and still have loads to do, and that's just 1 room, it's a wonder what with daughters horse riding, grandsons footy, darts, lady friend to visit, the odd fishing trip and decorating that i can even find time to blog about it, oh, and the cooking and housework as well. You know, i wonder how you women cope sometimes, well done girls. Fishing
Have been requested to place in a blog about Wayne's and my grandson Danny's night fishing expedition. some of the photo's taken are shown below....
 starting off with a little one...lol...  But they did get bigger  It all got a bit much for Danny  Untill morning, and he started with a little one < /> But they did get a bit bigger sunday dinnerJust a little update regarding last Sunday's lunch, all went well and i didn't burn anything. it was so good all sitting at the table together, I'm sure my lady friend enjoyed the meal, I know her little son did, he polished off everything on his plate...lol....
My lady friend seems to be getting used to the dogs now, she was petrified when she first met them, well they are big beast's, but after quite a few visits she is not so much a stranger now and they seem to be getting on quite well and they dont worry her as much.
Her little boy was 7 today (Friday) and i took him round a little birthday present, he seemed well happy, they are accompanying me to football again this Sunday and again i will offer my services as chief cook, do hope she will accept again............ no name thanks to all those ''Clint Eastwoods'' out there who leave me a comment...lol... anyone else noticed that when you leave a comment lately that you got ''NO NAME'' ...lol... Rainham 84 (Division 2 Leaders)My dinner was not the only thing cooking this Sunday, Grandson's football team is ''cooking'' as well, after 4 excellent results in as many weeks they have achieved top position in their ''under 12's'' division football league,,, ''COME ON THE LADS''!!!! DinnerJust a small update regarding Sunday lunch, unfortunately my lady friend had gone down with the bug that everyone seems to be catching lately, (unless she had heard rumours about my cooking) anyway it was a non event as she felt too ill to attend, she even missed my grandson's football match, which she normally accompanies me to, details of which i entered at the bottom of the ''Rainham 84 fixture list'' on the right> the excitement of that match made me forget the disappointment of my lady friend not attending, hopefully there will be other occasions when i may be able to cook a meal for her,.. The quest continues......
An addition is needed on this blog as i have just been to see my lady friend and dinner is on again for this sunday, she is feeling much better now and is also going to accompany me to grandson's footy match, all is not lost...... |
