Boring BlogI just don't seem to have had the inspiration or the time to do any blogs lately, nothing out of the ordinary going on...same old 'routine' apart from doing a few of those ''I'll do that tomorrow'' jobs. At least a few of THEM are done now but it Just seems as though the more you do, the more there is to do.

Wednesday and Thursday darts continue with all 'wins' over the last 2 weeks. I did lose one of my singles games though so that cost me a 'pint'
 but overall we gained the points to win all 4 matches. We are now currently '3rd' in the Wednesday league and 'Top'  in the Thursday league.* * * * *
No game for Grandsons
 Football team last week as it was the League cup quarter final matches and they were knocked out of that in the 3rd stage. This Sunday (today) they played an 'in form' team that beat them 12-3 last time ( I know I know!!!  Ouch!! that one hurt...lol...) this time, although they still got beat 4-1, there was a 'marked' improvement to their game and they came close to scoring an extra 2 or 3 goals themselves. Here's hoping that other results go their way and they don't regret this loss.* * * * *
I am still having trouble with my new 'Video converter',
 seems I can download any of my old camcorder vids to my comp and there is no problem playing them back on the comp but when I try to do anything else with them ( like publish to 'You Tube' or transfer them to my 'Nero Burning rom' it just doesn't want to let me do it , I will keep trying for a while before I admit defeat  ...lol... Hopefully next time I blog I will be able to tell you about my BIG lottery win!!!!   ....lol.... ( I live in hopes!!!)Best wishes to all.
Football, Darts & GymI have not been so busy with the comp lately, I have been catching up with a lot of the ' I'll do that tomorrow' jobs. I have decided to start the 'Spring cleaning' rather early and intent to decorate the Hall, Stairs and Landing this year.
Grandson's Football team tend to take a lot of my 'Sunday time' and keeping records of Results, Tables and Fixtures on my comp take up a bit more of that time. Another win on Sunday (3-2) means that they have now won 2 games in a row. After a terrible start to the season, (1 win in 7 games) and being 'rock' bottom of the 1st division, they have now managed to climb to 7th position ( there are 10 teams in their division ). With only another 5 league games to go it is going to be hard for them to maintain their 1st division place but if they keep up their current form, hopefully, they will manage it.
Wednesday & Thursday Darts games gave me a 'Free pint' on both evenings, we won both games
This keeps us riding high in both the Wednesday & Thursday league tables and still in with a chance of either winning or obtaining 'runners up' in one (or even both) of the leagues.* * * * * *
I decided to go to the Gym the other day and they have this fantastic new machine there. I must admit I 'hogged it for over an hour but had to come off eventually as it was starting to make me feel a bit sick.
 It is really good though, It does everything. Link>>>Gym Machine<<<Link Thats Life!!Long time since 'posting'... What with Christmas, New year celebrations and then 'Lodgers' taking over my front room for over a week there was not much chance ( and even less room) to get to the old 'comp'. Daughter Laura, partner and new baby found themselves without accommodation due to a falling out with Laura's partners mother, they had been living with her for over a year and things seemed to have boiled over since the arrival of the new baby. After their initial stay at my house, for almost 2 weeks when the baby was first born, they returned to her partners mother's house but things didn't go too well and came to a 'head' just after Christmas day.
After numerous visits and phone calls to the council they have now been found 'temporary accommodation'. My 'Front room' and 'the Comp' are now accessible once again!!!.

I still have lots of 'spaces' to visit and lots of catching up to do, but will (I hope,) get there in the end.
Even with all the upheaval I still took time out for me 'darts', 2 wins - 2 losses!!
so not much to 'brag' about there...lol...I WILL 'brag' about Grandsons footy team though--- this Sunday they played against a team that they lost 8-0 to a month or more before Christmas-- this time they WON (away from home) 4-2.

My Brother-in-law Wayne (the one that's doing Military training) got me a 'Video Creator' for Christmas. Seems like I can convert almost anything onto my comp by using this amazing piece of equipment!! my 'camcorder' is not 'digital' but with this equipment it seems to be no trouble at all to convert my old films into some sort of acceptable computer format, I reckon I will be having loads of 'fun' with that...lol...
